Brigitte Bardot had to be given oxygen because of breathing difficulties recently, causing quite a scare among those closest to her. The heat in southern France has made things difficult for the film icon. And it looks like the weather won't be giving any respite anytime soon either.
Brigitte Bardot is in stable condition now
Her husband reported the incident and explained that the high temperatures are particularly problematic for the elderly. "These high temperatures are very hard on them," he told reporters.

Brigitte's husband Bernard d'Ormale reported further on the incident saying this as well: "It was around nine o'clock when Brigitte had trouble breathing [...] Let's call it a moment of shortness of breath," he said. The emergency services were alerted, but the ambulance initially went to the wrong address, delaying the delivery of oxygen...
