Brad Garrett has contributed some serious allegations to the Ellen DeGeneres workplace scandal.
On Thursday, DeGeneres issued an apology to her staff along with a pledge to take steps "together, to correct the issues." So far, however, this has largely been a story focused on the Ellen Show's executives rather than the host herself.
But Brad Garrett wants to refocus the conversation to DeGeneres's alleged mistreatment of others, which he has called "common knowledge."

On Friday, Garrett tweeted a response to DeGeneres's apology, which had been reported by Variety. "Sorry but it comes from the top," he wrote, tagging The Ellen Show.
"Know more than one who were treated horribly by her," Garrett added. "Common knowledge."
As of now, that's all the former Everybody Loves Raymond star has offered on the topic. For reference, Garrett made six appearances on The Ellen Show, with the most recent coming in September 2007. DeGeneres hasn't yet addressed Garrett's new accusations either.
Ellen DeGeneres broke her silence with apology on Thursday
On July 28, news broke of an investigation into the Ellen Show, owing to reports of a "toxic" workplace environment. The initial report contained allegations of racism, fears of reprisal for reporting complaints, and consequences for taking medical leave. On July 30, DeGeneres sent a lengthy apology to her show's staff.
"My name is on the show and everything we do and I take responsibility for that," Ellen wrote. "Alongside Warner Bros, we immediately began an internal investigation and we are taking steps, together, to correct the issues. As we've grown exponentially, I've not been able to stay on top of everything and relied on others to do their jobs as they knew I'd want them done. Clearly some didn't. That will now change and I'm committed to ensuring this does not happen again," read a portion of the apology.
Since the apology, the allegations have only intensified. BuzzFeed News has now reported an account of 36 former employees who tell of incidents of sexual misconduct perpetrated by top executives on the show. Variety reports that at least one producer is stepping down immediately.
Whether or not the scandal, and Garrett's new allegations, will affect DeGeneres's future on her talk show remains to be seen.
