Gwen Stefani recently returned to her Just a Girl residency in Las Vegas on Wednesday night, and fans got quite the surprise during her first performance back! Stefani had been forced to cancel multiple performances in her residency run due to illness, so she put on quite the concert... featuring a very special guest!
As Entertainment Tonight reports, Stefani introduced her hit song "Nobody But You", which she recorded as a duet with partner Blake Shelton. In her brief introduction, she talked about the "weirdness" of her life and career to date, which includes having a song at the top of the country music charts. "I was looking on iTunes this morning and I’m number 1 on the country chart," Stefani said. "So I just thought that was like, kind of incredible".

Stefani and Shelton's special performance of their duet
Just as the opening melody of Stefani's "Nobody But You" started to play, that's when the big surprise happened. Blake Shelton suddenly appeared onstage, rising up from an elevator much to the delight of the crowd!
Shelton sang the opening verse of the song, then joined Stefani for the rest of their romantic duet. When the song came to an end, the couple hugged before Stefani jumped into Shelton's arms!
Stefani later posted a photo as well as a short video of the special moment to Instagram. "@blakeshelton thank u for coming out and singing #nobodybutyou," the singer captioned the sweet picture, which shows Stefani and Shelton embracing.
