Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell wanted to thank a famous family friend for his generosity! On Tuesday, Irwin made a post on Instagram wishing fellow Australian Russell Crowe a happy birthday, while also showing the world the thoughtful wedding gift he gave the newly married couple.

Irwin says Russell Crowe "will always be part of our family"
Irwin shared a couple sweet photos in her post, including one of her and Powell smiling as they pose with their gift from Crowe... a port jackson fig tree! The second picture shows a special note attached to the tree. "Presented to Bindi and Chandler to commemorate their wedding," it reads. "Love from, Russell Crowe and family".
Along with the photos, Irwin wrote a touching message to Crowe on behalf of herself and her husband. "Happy Birthday, @russellcrowe. You’ll always be part of our family," she said Even though we can’t see you right now, we’re giving the beautiful fig you gifted us a hug and thinking of you. Hope your day is extraordinary".
Crowe was supposed to attend the couple's wedding at the Australia Zoo, which had originally been planned for April. However, social distancing measures forced them to have it in March with only a few other people in attendance.
