Bill Fagerbakke in Coach played the role of "Michael "Dauber" Dybinski", opposite Jerry Van Dyke and Craig T. Nelson. He starred in the sitcom from 1989-1997. Considering Fagerbakke played three different sports in high school - football, basketball and track - playing the role of an assistant football coach came with ease.
Not only was Bill extremely athletic, but he also participated in his school's theatre productions! As he completed both his Bachelor's and Master's degree, he soon ended up transitioning his love for sports into his passion for acting...

Bill Fagerbakke's Coach serial career was the beginning of his professional work as an actor. In the '90s, he had a long line of films and TV shows he starred in, including Beethoven (TV series, 1994), Stephen King's The Stand (1994), Jumanji (TV series, 1996-99), and Oz (TV Series 1998–99).
Of course, his most famous work within the last over 20 years is with the lovable SpongeBob SquarePants series, where he voices the gullible "Patrick Star", BFF of "SpongeBob".
He's since done several voice-over works and TV guest appearances in other series like:
