It seems that Luke Perry is not far from the minds of the cast of the upcoming Beverly Hills, 90210 reboot. During an interview for NBC's Today show, Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth said that shooting the reboot helped them mourn the late actor. “The timing was something that seemed horrific, but in a weird sort of universal way, it was a way for us to all be together during an incomprehensible, painful time,” explained Garth. "He was with us every second of the time”, she added.
The original cast of Beverly Hills, 90210 will be together again
The upcoming reboot reunites Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth with Jason Priestley, Shannen Doherty, Ian Ziering, Brian Austin Green, and Gabrielle Carteris, who want to pay tribute to Luke Perry, who played the role of "Dylan McKay" in the original show from 1990 to 2000. Tori Spelling explained that these tributes were quiet ones: "We didn’t want to do anything big that would take away from the horrible thing that happened, just to do it. So, we wanted to do it in a nice way.”
