Jennifer Lopez is sharing her excitement about being engaged to Ben Affleck once again! As Entertainment Tonight shares, Lopez talked about Affleck getting down on one knee in a new edition of her newsletter On The JLo, revealing what his proposal meant to her.
Lopez says Affleck proposed to her at home
Lopez shared that Affleck proposed to her on Saturday night. But rather than involving an exotic location or an elaborate plan, she said he chose to pop the question when she was "at my favorite place on earth (in the bubble bath)". Lopez said she had been "taken totally off guard and just looked in his eyes smiling and crying at the same time," admitting she was "totally speechless" about what was happening.
"I said YES of course that’s a YES," she emphatically wrote. The singer and actress, who has previously expressed that she's not a fan of public proposals, then went on to gush about Affleck's approach. She called the way that her now-fiancé proposed to her "the most romantic thing I could’ve ever imagined," mentioning how it had been "just a quiet Saturday night at home, two people promising to always be there for each other."
