Is Regina Lasko still married to David Letterman?
David Letterman, 77, and Regina Lasko, 63, are said to have started dating in 1986. Regina gave birth to their son Harry decades later in 2003, and the two finally married in 2009. That very year, however, Letterman owned up to a major sex scandal.
A few months after the wedding, Letterman admitted to having affairs with several younger women on his Late Show staff. He did so after a CBS producer tried to blackmail him over the cheating.
The exact timeline of David Letterman and Regina Lasko's relationship and the affairs is unclear. But he apologized to her on The Late Show in October 2009 and later characterized it as cheating on his wife.
"My wife Regina, she has been horribly hurt by my behaviour," Letterman said on his talk show. "And when something happens like that, if you hurt a person and it's your responsibility, you try to fix it."
