Anya Taylor-Joy marries Malcolm McRae in Venetian ceremony
What a stunning scene! Anya Taylor-Joy (27) looks beautiful in snapshots from her wedding to Malcolm McRae (29) in Venice over the weekend.
In photos obtained by the 'Daily Mail' Anya can be seen standing on a balcony in a long beige gown, with her signature bright blonde hair flowing freely behind her.
The two first met at the premiere of 'The Queens Gambit' in March 2021. Just two days after meeting, Malcolm McRae wrote a song about the actress. In an Instagram post, he shared a clip of him singing the song.
The lyrics of the song show how smitten Malcom was at the time: "I think we're alike in ways that I can't quite explain right, but I might, could with some time. If ever we were in the same place. I want what's right, but I want without warning now, and I think we're wanting something the same".
A few months after their first meeting, Anya revealed that she had a partner, and many correctly assumed it was Malcolm. A year later, they made their public debut at a pre-Oscar party.
Anya Taylor-Joy gushed about Malcom to 'British Vogue' at the time. “I said to my partner the other day that he was my hobby. I see reading as something that I have to do. He loved it because he's the same," she says. "We're basically 80 years old and 7 at the same time, and it works really well".
