Anne Hathaway is one of the most precious gems of our time! The phenomenal actress, who is promoting her latest series on AppleTV with Jared Leto, wecrashed, took a break from her usual day in front of the cameras and spoke with WSJ. Magazine on how she feels about pregnancy and motherhood.
Anne Hathaway says she's found a purpose
Baby no.3? Potentially! Anne Hathaway shared that she won't say no to the idea of adding a third with her husband Adam Shulman, who is also the father of her two children, Jonathan, 5, and Jack, 2.
"I could see us going for another one," she said to the outlet. "There’s this tendency to portray getting pregnant, having kids, in one light, as if it’s all positive. But I know from my own experience… it’s so much more complicated than that."
She noted that learning the "pain" that comes with being a mother is shared, it's "helpful" because she no longer feels "isolated" in it.
Also Interesting:
Hathaway, who has an expansive career that's earned her an Oscar, and plenty of Golden Globes, BAFTA's, and Primetime Emmy Awards, has earned the actress her very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. So how does she feel about her own kids taking up acting?
"I would encourage them to study, to go to classes, to read, but I would strongly discourage them from starting too young," she said, noting that there's plenty of time to work but that "you can only be a child once."
She also said to the outlet that her children will most likely "be in a position where they’ll be able to go to college and figure out where they want to go from there."
wecrashed is now streaming on AppleTV.
