- Angelina Jolie is waging war on Brad Pitt
- Some custody documents have been leaked
- HERE is what we know so far
In a sensational twist to the ongoing legal saga between Hollywood's former power couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, new court documents have surfaced alleging Jolie's attempts to alienate Pitt from their children. The battle over their Château Miraval vineyard takes a dramatic turn with accusations of threatening security guards and enforcing NDAs to silence witnesses.
Who is to be believed in this tale of woes and conspiracy?
The Plot Thickens: Jolie vs. Pitt
In the latest chapter of the Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie saga that seems straight out of a Hollywood script, allegations have surfaced that could redefine the term 'celebrity drama'. According to court documents obtained by ET, Angelina Jolie allegedly took steps to create a rift between Brad Pitt and their children, a move that adds fuel to their fiery legal battles post-divorce.
The documents reveal that Tony Webb, a former security guard for the Jolie-Pitt clan, was instructed by Jolie to ensure their children did not communicate with Pitt during custody visits.
But that's not all - the actress is accused of wielding non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) like a sword to keep her security personnel from spilling the beans.
This revelation comes amidst the ex-couple's prolonged legal tussle over their luxurious French vineyard, Château Miraval, and the contentious use of NDAs.
Webb, who was part of Jolie's security detail for two decades, claims he was threatened with legal action if his contractors testified in the custody proceedings.
Despite the threats, two contractors did testify, allegedly sharing that Jolie encouraged the children to avoid spending time with Pitt. This bombshell testimony led to Webb's company being dismissed by Jolie shortly after.
Jolie's Camp Fires Back
In response to these allegations, Jolie's attorney, Paul Murphy, criticized Pitt's focus on NDAs, framing it as an attempt to cover up "his deplorable actions." Murphy argues that Jolie seeks nothing but a healthy separation and positive family relationships, including with Pitt.
Adding to the complexity, Jolie's lawyers previously filed documents accusing Pitt of being "physically abusive" towards her before an alleged incident on a plane in 2016 - an accusation that Pitt has vehemently denied and for which he was never charged.
olie's attorney, Paul Murphy, released a statement to 'ET' on Thursday addressing the claims made in the docs.
"Mr. Pitt’s continued attempt to equate common NDAs for security personnel and housekeepers covering confidential information employees learn at work, with him demanding an expanded NDA to ensure the continued coverup of his deplorable actions remains shameful," Murphy stated.
"This case is not about NDAs in general, but about power and control. All Angelina has ever wanted was separation and health, with positive relationships between all members of their family, including Mr. Pitt. She looks forward to the day when he is finally able to let her go."
Interestingly, Pitt's legal team contends that it was Jolie's side that sought a broader NDA, not Pitt, challenging the narrative put forth by Jolie's camp.
