Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper want their sons to be as close friends as they are when they grow up, and on Sunday they took the first step towards making that happen!
That's because as People shares, Cohen and Cooper set up a virtual introduction for Ben and Wyatt during the newest episode of Cohen's show, Watch What Happens Live.
Cohen and Cooper introduce sons to one another over video call
Cohen began the interaction by pointing out Cooper's son to his own son Ben. "I thought it would be fun if they met right now," Cohen said while gesturing at the screen to Cooper's son, who was in his arms. "Look, that's gonna be your good buddy Wyatt." Cooper then said softly to Wyatt, "That's Benjamin."
People mentions that the two television personalities also "had a short banter" about the striped outfit Wyatt was wearing. Cohen joked that Cooper's baby "is singing Édith Piaf wearing that outfit," before telling his son about his hopes for a future friendship between the two!
"Ben, this is Wyatt. This is Wyatt Cooper. He's gonna be your good buddy," Cohen told his son. "That's gonna be your good buddy and we're gonna travel together. And if you like him half as much as I like his daddy, you're gonna be great friends."
Cohen and Cooper play game about knowing each other as parents
Cohen's father Lou also joined in on the special Father's Day segment! As People reports, he hosted a game called "1, 2, AC!" that saw Cohen and Cooper put their bond to the test, seeing how well they know each other when it comes to parenting.
One of the questions asked in the game was "Who's most likely to be a helicopter parent?" Cohen and Cooper were in agreement that it would probably be the latter of the pair— however, Cooper said that he's "hoping not to be."
