Born July 3, 1973, in Norfolk Virginia, American actor Patrick Wilson knew he wanted to act at an early age! After graduating with a degree in drama from Carnegie Mellon University, Patrick would make his acting debut as an understudy in a stage production of Miss Saigon.
After five years of building his impressive resume Off-Broadway, Patrick Wilson would make his Broadway debut in 2000 in a production of The Full Monty. His performance in the show would earn him a Tony Award nomination for Best Actor in a Musical!
Patrick Wilson Broadway to Hollywood
Patrick Wilson would continue to pursue a career in Broadway with a follow-up performance in hit Broadway production Oklahoma! until 2003 when he made the transition to Hollywood! Patrick's big screen break would come with HBO miniseries Angels in America.
Audiences loved Patrick as closeted Mormon Republican "Joe Pitt", and the actor received critical acclaim from around the world for his performance! Patrick would continue his Hollywood success and break into film with appearances in The Alamo (2004) and The Phantom of the Opera (2004).

Today, Patrick Wilson is well-known for his parts in horror films including 2006 Golden Globe-nominated film Running with Scissors, The Conjuring (2013), and Annabelle Comes Home (2019). In fact, the actor has cemented himself in the horror genre so much that fans now regard him as the "scream king"!
When the 51-year-old isn't busy scaring us, he enjoys spending time with his wife of nearly 20 years, actress Dagmara Domińczyk and their two sons, Kalin and Kassian. Most recently you can watch Patrick in the 2022 Sci-Fi film Moonfall alongside Halle Berry and Josh Gad, and the 2023 films Insidious: The Red Door, The Nun II, and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.
