Amber Heard Allegedly Keeps $3.4 Million of Children's Hospital Donation

In 2016, Johnny Depp's ex-wife Amber Heard famously said she did not want Johnny's $7 million settlement and would donate the funds entirely to the ACLU and Children's Hospital Los Angeles. But now, evidence is surfacing that she may have only donated $100k of the $3.5m promised. Amber herself admits she has not paid the full pledge.

Amber Heard is in hot water again now that she has been caught bending the truth once more. After her vicious split from Johnny Depp in 2016, she promised the whopping $7 million settlement she won to the ACLU and Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Now records are alleging that the hospital has only received $100k!

Amber Heard Allegedly Fails To Pay Promised Donation to Children's Hospital

Over 4 years later and Amber Heard has yet to fulfill her promise to Children's Hospital Los Angeles. The Daily Mail has produced documents showing Amber's one-time payment of $100,000 in 2016. The donation letter sent by her lawyer claims:

"This donation is being made in accordance with Ms. Heard's pledged gift of $3,500,000 to Children's Hospital Los Angeles Foundation. This check represents the first of multiple scheduled installments to honor the full amount of Ms. Heard's $3,500,000 pledged gift."

In 2019, the hospital's Associate Senior Vice President wrote to Amber requesting a response about her unfulfilled pledge. The hospital ASVP wrote:

"I am following up on the correspondence that Children's Hospital Los Angeles Foundation received on August 26, 2016 which CHLA was notified by Edward White, Edward White & Company, that a $3.5 million pledged gift had been made in your honor. In the correspondence, see enclosure, it states, "the first of multiple scheduled installments to honor the full amount of Ms. Heard's $3,500,00 pledged gift". Since the first installment, CHLA has not received further installments."

In the documents obtained by the Daily Mail, the letter continues, "I am inquiring if you have knowledge if CHLA should expect further installment(s) on your behalf or if the pledge will not be fulfilled."

Amber's lawyer has now spoken to E! News, admitting that her promised pledge has yet to be fulfilled. Apparently, "Amber has already been responsible for seven figures in donations to charitable causes and intends to continue to contribute and eventually fulfill her pledge."

Amber's lawyers justify her keeping the settlement money she promised by claiming she needs the funds to fight her ex-husband Johnny Depp. "However, Amber has been delayed in that goal because Mr. Depp filed a lawsuit against her, and consequently, she has been forced to spend millions of dollars defending Mr. Depp’s false accusations against her."

This is another wild discovery in the never-ending Amber Heard and Johnny Depp Saga. In the meantime, Amber continues to live lavishly and ventures on expensive vacations. We will have to wait and see if Amber ever pays the money she promised.
