Alex Trebek's wife Jean opens up about Alex's battle with cancer

In their interview with GMA host Michael Strahan, Jean, 54, shared the most difficult part for her when dealing with the unfortunate diagnosis:

“For me, it’s when I see him in pain and I can’t help him. When he doesn’t eat right. When he has too much diet soda.”

Yet, Jean feels incredibly thankful for the amount of support he gets from fans and the contestants on the show. Currently, Alex has no plans on retiring from Jeopardy! so far. He continues to fight the cancer with treatment and courageously resume hosting the game show. During the duration of his career, Alex has won an impressive six Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Game Show Host.
