Alec Baldwin's wife Hilaria suffered a second miscarriage. The mother of four revealed the tragic news on Instagram, after attending her 20-week scan with her doctors on Monday. "We are very sad to share that today we learned that our baby passed away at 4 months. We also want you to know that even though we are not ok right now, we will be," she captioned the video where she appears with her 6 year old daughter Carmen.
In the clip Hilaria tells Carmen she will try very hard to make a younger sibling happen one day, while she explains she doesn't know how long it will take though. "I told her that this baby isn’t going to come after all… but we will try very hard to give her a little sister another time. I’m really devastated right now… I was not expecting this when I went to my scan today," she said.
Alec Baldwin's wife Hilaria had already suffered a miscarriage
Alec and Hilaria Baldwin have been married since 2012 and have four children, Carmen, Rafael, Leonardo, and Romeo. The couple had announced her latest pregnancy in September; they revealed the baby would be a girl a couple weeks later.
Before attending her appointment this Monday, Hilaria Baldwin expressed her concerns about going to the doctor as she had already suffered a miscarriage in April. Back then fans questioned her decision of sharing the news so early, but she defended it, "I think it’s important to show the truth because my job is to help people by being real and open. Furthermore, I have no shame or embarrassment with this experience. I want to be a part of the effort to normalize miscarriage and remove the stigma from it," she said.
