Kevin Zegers' Air Bud films have forever cemented the Canadian as a talented actor. Born September 19, 1984, Kevin was just 12 years old when he joined the cast of Air Bud, but he actually got his start at the even younger age of six!
Having appeared in over 30 television commercials and a few smaller roles in films including Life with Mikey (1993) and Canadian TV series Traders, Kevin Zegers' big break would come in 1997!

Kevin Zegers' Air Bud casting as "Josh Framm" would come when he was just 12 years old, and the role would be the boost he needed to get his career going. The 1997 film follows the story of a lonely young boy who befriends a stray golden retriever named "Buddy".
"Buddy" and Kevin enjoy playing basketball together, and, as it turns out, "Buddy" is quite the star! The original Air Bud film was so successful that there were three sequels made for Kevin to star in:
- Air Bud: Golden Receiver (1998)
- Air Bud: World Pup (2000)
- Air Bud: Seventh Inning Fetch (2002)

Kevin Zegers would see more fame than he could have ever imagined by the time he turned 18, and after Air Bud he would go on to star in a number of other family-friendly films like Treasure Island (1999) as well as branching into more adult roles including 2005 comedy film Transamerica and as bad boy "Damian Dalgaard" on the hit CW series Gossip Girl.
Most recently you will catch Kevin in the 2018 Netflix series Dirty John and in 2019 thriller film Nighthawks. When he's not busy filming, he enjoys spending time with his wife of seven years, Jaime Feld, their two beautiful daughters, and adorable doggy, Nugget!
Air Bud fans would love to see Kevin Zegers back in an Air Bud reboot, and the actor has even hinted to US Weekly that it is perhaps likely in the near future! We can only hope to see Kevin Zegers in Air Bud again!
