Need-to-know:

Did Britney Spears have a fight with her boyfriend?

According to an insider who spoke to 'CNN,' Britney Spears was reportedly seeking a "major fight" with her boyfriend on Wednesday evening while being "at home and secure." The situation allegedly escalated to the point where emergency services were summoned to the hotel, although the singer ultimately departed with her security team.

Despite repeated requests for comment from Britney's representatives, no statement was provided to the network. Efforts to gather additional details from Chateau Marmont and the first responders were also initially unfruitful.

Britney Spears defends herself against fake news

The narrative took a surprising turn when Britney Spears took to Instagram on Thursday to address the situation. In a text post, she refuted the reporting, stating, "News is fake!"

Britney further disclosed that she had twisted her ankle on the aforementioned night and criticized the arrival of emergency services at her door as unwarranted: "They never came in my room but I felt completly (sic) harassed," she declared, concluding unexpectedly, "I'm moving to Boston!!! Peace."

A few hours later, she shared a video showcasing her swollen foot, presumably as evidence supporting her account. She also implicated her mother in the incident and expressed gratitude to her lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, stating, "This man is wonderful! He's like a father to me and he got me through last night! I adore you and admire you mister Mathew!"
