Hannah Gutierrez-Reed (27), the armorer on the set of 'Rust', was found guilty in March after a ten-day trial. The court in Santa Fe, New Mexico, charged her with involuntary manslaughter.
The sentence was read out in mid-April: Hannah will go to prison for 18 months - the highest sentence possible in her case.
This verdict follows the tragic incident two and a half years ago when, on the 'Rust' film set, the Cinematographer Halyna Hutchins (†42) was hit by a shot from a prop gun which was operated by Alec Baldwin (66), and was fatally injured.
