In November 2022, Aaron Carter (†34) died in his bathtub under the influence of medication at only 34 years old.
Aaron Carter: Parents to blame for his death?
Aaron Carter's sudden death caused distress not only among his fans. His family, first and foremost his twin sister Angel (35), is also struggling with the loss. Today, nine months after Aaron's death, she speaks openly about her pain and the sad fate of her brother.
"He wanted to be happy so much. He really fought until the end, but he just had too many problems that could not be solved. He had become a person we didn't recognize. I think he didn't even recognize himself," Angel explained to 'People'.
She believes the origin of his drug addiction comes from her parents. To prevent other children from suffering the same fate, Angel is an advocate for their mental health:
