Dick Van Dyke came through for Californians in need this week.
The iconic actor, who turned 95 last year, was out and about on Tuesday, when he turned up at a non-profit organization helping job seekers. There, Van Dyke surprised the crowd with a generous gift of cash.

Daily Mail acquired photos of Van Dyke's kind gesture and his outing this week. He'd visited a drugstore before heading to a bank and grabbing some money for day labourers in Malibu, where Van Dyke himself also lives. The Mary Poppins actor then drove to the organization and passed around bills from his car.
Even now in his 90s, Van Dyke has also continued to pick up occasional film and television roles in recent years. Most of these parts have been cameo and voice roles, including one in the 2018 film Mary Poppins Returns, a sequel to to the 1964 original in which Van Dyke co-starred with Julie Andrews.

Van Dyke was also busy last year making public appearances as a celebrity supporter of Bernie Sanders, who was running for the Democratic nomination ahead of the 2020 U.S. presidential election.
