On Instagram, the 72-year-old shares a photo of herself and her sweetheart. In it they pose in elegant looks at an event. "50 years," Bonnie writes, including ring and heart emoji to the snapshot.
Even after all these years, the the raspy-voiced singer and the former professional athlete still seem super happy: "We laugh a lot, we love each other's company and have a great time together - that's what it comes down to," Bonnie revealed in the 'Bunte' interview.
The two have already been through a lot together. The blonde almost drowned during a boating trip over ten years ago. Luckily, Robert was there for her just in time: "My husband saved my life," Bonnie reveals.

Bonnie and Robert do not have any children. "I always put my career first. When the subject of children came up, I put it off from year to year. Then, when I was ready, I suffered a miscarriage. I was 40 years old at the time," the singer told 'Bunte'.
