50 Cent is left apologizing to female rapper Megan Thee Stallion for sharing a really insensitive meme that mocked the serious situation that happened earlier this month.
Megan recently revealed that she was shot in the foot on July 12. 50 Cent shared a meme that mocked the situation, and later realized his mistake, issuing an apology to the "Savage" singer.
50 Cent's awkward meme left him apologetic
On Monday, the rapper shared his apology to Megan Thee Stallion on Instagram, saying that he wasn't aware of how serious the situation was when he made light of Megan getting shot in the foot on July 12.
50 Cent said that he didn't know "she was really hurt" when he shared the meme.
In his apology, 50 Cent also shared a clip of Megan's Instagram Live she did on Monday, where she recounted the harrowing the incident.
"Damn, I didn't think this s--t was real," he wrote in his caption.
"It sounded so crazy [Megan] I'm glad your feeling better and I hope you can accept my apology," he added.
The rapper admitted he shared a meme poking fun of the situation, saying. "I wouldn’t have done that if I knew you was really hurt sorry."
During an Instagram Live, Megan revealed she had to undergo surgery on her feet to repair the damage done.
"It was just the worst experience of my life and it’s not funny," she said, tearing up.
"It’s nothing to joke about and nothing for y’all to go and be making fake stories about. I didn’t put my hands on nobody. I didn’t deserve to get shot. I didn't do s—," she said.
Aside from her foot injuries and the emotional side effects, Megan is expected to make a full recovery and is doing well.
