Lana Del Rey has officially announced her forthcoming album, 'The Right Person Will Stay,' which is set to be released in May 2025. In an Instagram post, Del Rey expressed gratitude for the completion of the album, stating, "So grateful that my 13 tracks came together with my beautiful work between Luke, Jack, Zach and Drew Erickson amongst others."
The release date is confirmed for May 21, and fans can expect to hear some tracks before her performance at Stagecoach in April.
The new album features collaborations with producers and musicians such as Jack Antonoff and Zachary Dawes, both of whom contributed to her 2023 album 'Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd.'
The singer/songwriter teased a country album titled 'Lasso' in January at the Billboard x NMPA Songwriter Awards ahead of this year’s Grammys, initially noting that the album would release in September.
"We’re going country!" she said at the time. "It’s happening." She also previewed a dreamy, guitar-forward song, presumably titled "Henry, Come On,” that same month, which could be the "Henry" she references in her new IG caption.
Luke Laird, known for his work with artists like Kacey Musgraves, is also involved. Earlier this year, Del Rey hinted at a country album titled "Lasso" and previewed a song, possibly titled "Henry, Come On," which aligns with her recent Instagram mention of "Henry."
Her debut album, 'Born to Die', featured hits like "Born to Die" and "Summertime Sadness," which solidified her status as a cultural icon.
