Born on August 3, 1963, in Pennsylvania, Lisa Ann Walter grew up in Germany and then eventually settled in Washington D.C, where she obtained a theatre degree. Before her acting career, she actually did stand-up comedy! Soon after, she starred in the Fox comedy 'My Wildest Dreams' and the ABC sitcom 'Life's Work' in the mid to late '90s.

Lisa starred in 'The Parent Trap' in 1998, alongside Dennis Quaid and Lindsay Lohan. She still remains close friends with Simon Kunz (who played the butler in the movie) and Elaine Hendrix (the cruel "Meredith Blake")! 

After her success with 'The Parent Trap', Walter also starred in hit films 'Bruce Almighty', 'Shall We Dance?', and 'War of the Worlds'.
