In an interview with 'Vogue Scandinavia,' Princess Sofia revealed, “maybe wasn’t planned, but now we’re very, very excited, especially the children.” The princess, who will celebrate her 40th birthday on December 6, graces the current cover of the magazine, radiating joy as she embraces this new chapter.
Sofia and Carl Philip had initially thought their family was complete. “My husband and I both come from families of five, with three children, so we thought that was a good number and we were very happy with it,” Sofia shared. The couple’s three sons—Alexander (2016), Gabriel (2017), and Julian (2021)—are now eagerly anticipating the arrival of their new sibling, even though the news came as a surprise.
