Prince Harry, 40, has once again expressed his strong support for the WellChild Awards, urging the public to submit nominations for the 2025 event. The new video featuring the royal was shared by the organization.

The annual awards celebrate the courage and achievements of seriously ill children across the UK and remain one of the few patronages Prince Harry has kept since stepping back from royal duties.

Prince Harry's commitment to WellChild

Prince Harry has been a patron of the WellChild Awards since 2007, demonstrating his long-standing dedication to supporting sick children and their families. In the video, he shared: "Each year, the WellChild Awards, in association with GSK, recognize and celebrate the growing number of young people with complex medical conditions from across the United Kingdom as well as those who go the extra mile to care for them."

Prince Harry’s connection to WellChild has only deepened with his own experience as a father of two. In 2021, he shared with 'People': "Now as a father of two, I feel all the more connected, inspired and in awe of the resilience of these families, who power through indescribable challenges with the support of WellChild."

The 2025 event marks the 20th anniversary of the WellChild Awards, making it an especially meaningful occasion. Harry highlighted: "This year is especially significant as we celebrate the 20th WellChild Awards.It is a true privilege to honor the bravery and compassion of this incredible community."

Emotional moments at the WellChild Awards
