This incident marks the third time Marius has faced arrest, with previous charges linked to assault and restraining order violations.
Previous arrests and allegations
Marius's legal troubles began on August 4 when he was accused of attacking a woman in her 20s, later identified as his girlfriend. Following this, he spent 30 hours in police custody. His second arrest occurred on September 15 for allegedly breaching a restraining order. These incidents have drawn significant media attention, particularly due to Marius's royal connections and the nature of the allegations.
In response to the allegations, Marius has been involved in extensive police interviews. After eight sessions, he issued a statement denying the assault of two former girlfriends, Nora Haukland and Juliane Snekkestad. These women came forward after hearing of his August arrest. While admitting to abusive behavior in his current relationship, Marius maintains his innocence regarding the accusations made by his former partners.
