Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques of Monaco were born just two minutes apart on December 10, 2014. This year, they celebrate their milestone 10th birthday, and the Monegasque palace is marking the occasion with a heartfelt Instagram post.
Gabriella and Jacques turn 10: New photos revealed
The palace celebrated the twins with a short video featuring a collection of photos of the siblings. Among them are some never-before-seen snapshots that are absolutely adorable, capturing the charm of the young royals.
The twins can be seen dressed to impress in formal attire, like smart dresses and suits, as well as in relaxed, casual outfits. Particularly eye-catching are photos of Jacques in a stylish jacket and sunglasses and a snapshot of Gabriella in a sporty white and red ensemble.
A bond like no other
The close bond between the twins is evident in nearly every photo, with the pair often seen holding hands or wrapping their arms around each other. Both siblings radiate charm with their mischievous smiles, perfectly capturing their unique connection.
Princess Charlène once described the twins' distinct personalities in an interview with Monaco Matin. Gabriella is “quite spontaneous,” while Jacques is described as “more reserved but very observant.” These differences are also reflected in their hobbies—Gabriella loves hip-hop dancing and gymnastics, while Jacques enjoys taekwondo. Despite their contrasting traits, the siblings share a strong bond and always support each other during public appearances.

Growing public roles and language skills
As they grow older, Jacques and Gabriella are increasingly stepping into public life. Whether attending the opening of the Monaco section of Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg or cheering at the E-Prix in Monte-Carlo, the twins show curiosity and good spirits.
At home, the family primarily speaks English, which is the native language of both Charlène and the late Gracia Patricia (Princess Grace). However, Prince Albert ensures the twins also grow up speaking French. “But when I need to stop them doing something silly, I switch to English” he jokingly told 'Paris Match.'
