Trainor's Botox Woes
Meghan Trainor, the popular singer known for hits like "Made You Look," has shared her regrets about cosmetic procedures on her podcast, Workin' On It with Meghan Trainor & Ryan Trainor. At 30 years old, Trainor admitted to having "too much Botox" on her forehead, which has resulted in her being unable to smile.
She humorously confessed, "I got too much Botox and I need help," while acknowledging that the treatments were initially appealing due to compliments she received. However, the inability to smile has become a significant concern for the singer.
In addition to Botox, Trainor also expressed dissatisfaction with lip fillers. She recounted being convinced that a "lip flip" procedure would enhance her upper lip, only to find the results disappointing. "And I could have one for the first time in my whole 30 years of living — it was not true," she lamented.
Her brother and podcast co-host, Ryan Trainor, recalled an incident at a Home Goods store where he noticed her struggle to smile, saying, "Bro, you can’t smile." Meghan's attempts to smile now reportedly cause discomfort, leading her to joke about looking unhappy in photos.
The "Mother" hitmaker then held up a photo on her phone of herself holding a dog when she recently visited a dog shelter as she said, "I don’t look happy. I look like I smelled someone’s fart … somebody help me!"
Speaking about her decision to try Botox for the first time, she said, "I was like, ‘This is young.’ People gave me compliments [saying] ‘You look rested.’ So I was like, ‘I'm going to do it again.’ I just got back from tour."
She went on to share that what she’s learned from the experience is "don’t try everything." And it's refreshing to hear such honesty from such a big star.
Despite her past experiences, Trainor is considering further cosmetic procedures. She announced plans for a breast augmentation after having two children with her husband, Daryl Sabara.
Describing the changes in her body post-pregnancy, she explained, "my mommy boobies were full of milk and now they're empty." Trainor's openness about her cosmetic journey highlights the challenges and considerations many face when opting for such procedures.
Meghan Trainor’s career has been a whirlwind of catchy tunes, empowering anthems, and quirky dance moves. She broke into the music scene with her smash hit "All About That Bass" in 2014, instantly becoming the go-to pop star for anyone who wanted to dance while embracing body positivity.
Her debut album, 'Title', was the perfect blend of bouncy pop and feel-good vibes. And if you thought she’d slow down, think again—her next album, 'Thank You', gave us gems like "No" that made us rethink what we thought we knew about pop music.
