The devastating wildfires currently ravaging Los Angeles and the surrounding areas have not only destroyed the landscape but also claimed many lives. Actor Joe Lando (63), best known for his role in 'Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman,' is one of those affected.
In an emotional Instagram video, Lando shared that his home was completely destroyed in the flames. "The Lando family is intact. All of us and our dogs and our two birds, thankfully, there are angels in this world," Lando said in the video.

The wildfires that broke out on January 7 in Pacific Palisades and other Los Angeles neighborhoods have already ravaged thousands of acres of land.
According to local authorities, at least 16 people have died, and tens of thousands of residents have been forced to evacuate their homes. Actor Joe Lando, known for his role in 'Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman,' is among those affected. In an emotional video, Lando recounted the harrowing evacuation experience and the loss of his home, which he had spent years building.

During this difficult time, Lando found support from his longtime friend and former co-star Jane Seymour (73). "My friend Jane Seymour allowed us to come over to her house and opened it up for us without any hesitation and thank God [she] gave us someplace to come and sleep," Lando shared in the video.
However, despite this refuge, the challenges are far from over. The fires have also affected Seymour’s neighborhood, and the Lando family is now living without electricity, gas, or drinkable water.

The fires in Los Angeles have not only destroyed homes but also schools and vital infrastructure. Lando’s children, too, saw their school fall victim to the flames. "Everything is gone," Lando said, his voice breaking with emotion. "There’s no rich or poor, black or white, red or blue. This fire’s evil and it will kill everything."
Lando and Seymour share a deep friendship that extends far beyond their time together on 'Dr. Quinn.' They have collaborated on several film projects, including 'Perfectly Prudence' and 'A Christmas Spark.'
