Danish royal twins celebrate their 14th birthday

On the occasion of their birthday, the court published new pictures of the two, which were taken on New Year's Eve, shortly after thier father had given his first New Year's Eve speech.

Princess Josephine and Prince Vincent: Differences in the royals

Princess Josephine seems to be following in the footsteps of the Danish Queens. She not only shares her mother Mary's taste in fashion, but also her grandmother Margrethe's creativity and passion for the theater. Josephine enjoys being in the limelight, as her appearances at the Hubertus Hunt and in the Danish series "Tidsrejsen 2" show.

In contrast to his sister, Prince Vincent prefers a more secluded life. In this respect, he is reminiscent of his father Frederik, who also avoided the public eye in his youth. Vincent has attended a different school to Josephine since the sixth grade, which gives him room for his own development. His love of animals, mainly dogs, is evident in his interactions with the family dogs Grace and Coco and a sled dog puppy during a trip to Greenland.

Despite their differences, the twins play an important role in the Danish royal family. Since their parents acceded to the throne, their lives have changed and they are now in the spotlight as the children of the King and Queen. Nevertheless, they remain the backbone of the family and, together with their sister Isabella, lead a normal life away from royal duties.
